The Health Committee in the Belgium parliament has adopted a bill that will help create a so called cannabis agency. The purpose of this agency is to eventually produce medical cannabis.
The agency is to provide hospitals and pharmacists with cannabis. It will also get a monopoly status in order to make sure that the drug isn’t used illegally.
A plenary session is coming up, where the legislation will be discussed.
