CBS refuses to send medical cannabis commercial during Super Bowl

Even though medical cannabis is legalized in 33 states (+ Washington DC) and a majority of the American football players are in favor of the drug for pain management, CBS refuses an ad about it.

Cannabis is a banned substance in the NFL and instead the players are getting prescribed opioids for their pains. That happened to Nate Jackson, now retired. He chose to smoke cannabis instead of taking the Vicodin he was prescribed.  He wants the NFL to change their policy on this matter.

A spokesman for CBS says: -We do not currently accept cannabis-related advertising.
