Cory Booker brings his legalization bill back

The Democratic senator Cory Booker from New Jersey has reintroduced his federal legalization bill from 2017. The goal is  to remove cannabis from the list of controlled substances. This would be legalizing it on the federal level.

Booker is running for president in 2020. Several of his Democratic fellow candidates who also are running for president have supported his bill. They have even signed on as co-sponsors. Bernie Sanders. Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren are some of them.
