Critics say restrictions could be bad for the environment

The proposed restrictions from Health Canada when it comes to THC potency for edibles are not good, according to the legal cannabis industry.

The critics say that the permitted maximum amount of THC of 10mg for one individual package is way too little. (In the street, doses can contain anything between 40 and 120mg).

Cannabis Council of Canada has called the proposal wasteful and says that the 10mg restriction will give rise to a mountain of litter. This could have a severe impact on the environment.
