First trials for cannabis against PTSD concluded

After ten years of research, planning and fighting bureaucratic red tape, a study about the effect of cannabis on PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) has been finished in Scottsdale Research Institute in Phoenix, Arizona.

The study included 76 war veterans with PTSD. They were given 1.8 grams each day, but this was a so called triple blind test. This means none, not even the researchers, knew who got a dose of a specific potency.

The data screening has just begun this week. A complete result of this long expected study will be official later this year.
