Iceland: Former first lady wants to legalize cannabis

Dorrit Moussaieff was born in Jerusalem in 1950. She is a jewelry designer and editor. She is the wife of Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson. He was the Icelandic president 2003-2016. Dorrit has become popular in Iceland and she is pretty outspoken about things she considers important.
Because of that her recent cannabis related posts on social media attained the attention from the some of the common media.

Actually- in spite of the fact that cannabis is illegal there, the consumption in Iceland is among the highest in Europe. According to the World Drug Report 18.3% of the adult population use it for recreational purposes.
