Six Republicans in a Minnesota Senate committee yesterday outvoted three Democrats about a proposal that would legalize cannabis. They also rejected a bill to study the issue further.
A Democratic member of the Minnesota Senate, Senator Ron Latz, was frustrated. He claims that according to the last poll, 80% of the Minnesotans wanted this bill to pass. He says he “..frankly is really stunned”.
