According to a report from National Survey on Drug Use and Health, cannabis smokers in USA between ages 55-64 now are overtaking the 12-17-years old when it comes to statistics.
(The difference, however, is within the margin of error).
In the early 2000s the situation was different. Not many over 50 smoked cannabis and persons between 12 and 17 was four times more likely to do so. Today statistics show us that during the last decade a rapidly growing group of cannabis consumers are people between 55 and 64! And even the 65+ category is on the rise! From being almost non existent 2004 they now rate 2,4% of their group.
