Swedish police reports that yesterday during Gothenburg Cultural Festival a seagull stole evidence and flew away. It was when two plainclothes police officers where going to arrest a woman for smoking a joint that another man nearby saw what was going on and threw a 5-10 gram bag of weed on the ground.
Before the police officers could confiscate that bag a criminal bird nicked it and took off. The man who threw the bag disappeared during the commotion. Unfortunately the woman without bird connections did get caught. The police say in the official statement that they did not chase the bird or know if it sampled the goods.
