In the beginning of 2019 California created a regulation that made it possible for people to get cannabis delivered to their homes, whether they live in an area that has banned cannabis shops or not.
According to the decision of a state panel, Massachusetts will try to compensate those who have been disproportionately affected by war on drugs. This would be accomplished by granting them exclusive licenses for home delivery of cannabis for a five year period.
Massachusetts is getting one step further in the direction of creating social spaces, so called cannabis cafes, for consuming cannabis. This is done in the name of fairness, since not everyone is able to consume cannabis at home, even if it’s legal.
