Since Thailand legalized medical cannabis, the country’s tobacco authority now is offering support to tobacco growers that are willing to start growing marijuana instead.
The reason for this is that cigarette prices are expected to rise drastically after the introduction of new taxes. That in turn will probably result in declining tobacco sales.
