Tilray Inc. from British Columbia is buying one of the worlds largest producers of hemp food products –Manitoba Harvest- in order to speed up their expansion in the market.
Manitoba Harvest will be a subsidiary company of Tilroy. This purchase will give Tilroy access to the well developed distribution net of Manitoba Harvest. And also to the vast know-how that exists within the company.
Brendan Kennedy, the CEO of Tilray says:
